Radiohead – Hail to the Thief
My father purchased this album when it came out, so for a year afterwards, any time I would get a ride from him, I was forced to listen to Hail to the Thief. It became synonymous with fatherhood and carpooling.
This album is more political than I generally like, and it’s a little creepier sounding than a lot of Radiohead’s works. It’s pretty different, I’d say, on the whole from a lot of what I’d call “their sound,” but I can’t really describe why.
There are some really good tracks on here, and I love Radiohead, but I just don’t find myself listening to this album much.
