Wilco – A Ghost Is Born

I’ve rarely listened to A Ghost Is Born, since my Wilco phase ended before it was released. It seems more electronic, especially since Wilco derived from such twangy roots, but Jeff’s voice is too noticeable to disregard. I wonder, though, if I’d be able to tell it was Wilco without his iconic voice.

Anyway, the album seems pretty nice and mellow, which is definitely a side of Wilco a lot of people expect. I think the album has an egg on the cover, so you know, eggs. Calm or whatnot. “Less Than You Think” has a somewhat annoying 10 minutes of wish-it-were-silence.
