Soundgarden – Superunknown

I find it a little bit cute that the only Superunknown is the definitive Soundgarden.  I feel like there’s a reason they’re not known, and the reason is this album itself.  It is not great.

I do appreciate “Black Hole Sun,” and “Spoonman” is also tolerable, but the rest of the album is both forgettable and desirably so.  If it weren’t for those two songs, this metally mish-mosh of nothingness (which holds absolutely no memories whatsoever) would be much much worse.
